Published since 1984, the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal is a publication of Emory University School of Law focusing on bankruptcy law and practice. Our goal is to provide a forum for research, debate, and information for practitioners, scholars, and the public.
The journal publishes semi-annually, in the fall and spring. We also host a symposium on current topics in the field.
As the only student-run bankruptcy journal in the United States, the EBDJ is the most widely distributed scholarly journal of the Emory University School of Law with a circulation of roughly 900. To subscribe, please visit our subscriptions page.
We accept previously unpublished submissions on topics important to the study and practice of bankruptcy. The majority of the writing we publish consists of articles on topics of scholarly importance and signed comments written by the journal’s editorial board.
