Submissions

The Emory Law Journal is published six times a year.  We are no longer accepting submissions for Volume 61, to be published during the 2011-2012 academic year. We will resume accepting submissions for Volume 62, to be published during the 2012-2013 academic year, starting on February 13, 2012.

We accept only electronic submissions for publication via ExpressO. Do not send manuscripts to the Emory Law Journal via email to the journal or individual editors.

Expedited Review

If you have submitted a manuscript for review by the Emory Law Journal and would like to request an expedited review, you have two options.  You are encouraged to use ExpressO to enter expedite requests.  You may also contact Adam Reinke, Executive Articles Editor, by e-mail at articles(at)law.emory.edu or by telephone at 404.727.3623.  Please be sure to include the following information in any e-mail or voicemail message:

• Deadline for expedited review
• Name of the Journal(s) that has made a publication offer
• Best way to reach you

Format

Citations in submissions should follow The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010). Please use footnotes rather than endnotes.
