Journals

Emory University School of Law publishes three unique student-run journals featuring the legal scholarship of law professors, practitioners, heads of state, and law students from this country and around the world. We publish our journals in print and electronically on our website.

Published since 1984 and the only student-run bankruptcy journal in the United States, the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal publishes semi-annually and hosts a symposium in the spring. This widely-read journal provides a forum for research, debate, and information for practitioners, scholars, and the public.

The student-run Emory International Law Review enjoys a world-wide reputation as a leader in international scholarship. The EILR publishes articles on subjects ranging from human rights to international intellectual property issues to freedom of religion and belief.

Founded in 1952 as the Journal of Public Law, the Emory Law Journal is the law review of Emory Law. The student-run ELJ publishes six issues per year featuring academic and student articles on a broad range of legal topics. Additionally, the ELJ hosts the Randolph W. Thrower Symposium every spring, bringing together legal scholars from across the country to discuss timely legal topics.
