Ceud Mile Failte! - "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!"

The aim of the GAELIC (short for GA Eyewitness Litigators In Concert) is to create a comprehensive and focused eyewitness litigation resource tailored to criminal trial practice in Georgia for the benefit of Georgia criminal defense attorneys, their clients and their clients' families.  GAELIC members benefit from the collective wisdom of the group as we gather and distribute resources that will enable all of us to more effectively deal with the daunting challenge of honest but mistaken eyewitness identification.

Membership is free; it includes the opportunity to participate in the GAELIC listserv, get information on upcoming training, connect with national resources, and access to all eyewitness litigation materials collected.  GAELIC membership is restricted to practicing criminal defense attorneys; however, the unrestricted portions of this site contain a great deal of useful information for the general public.

To join GAELIC, please fill out membership form.

Members of the general public can learn about problems with eyewitness identification, obtain help for a falsely accused family member or friend, and get involved with Georgia eyewitness reform efforts.

MUCH MORE TO COME!

Please check back after August 15, 2007.  There will be much more content added.  The urgency of the Troy Davis matter has resulted in a delay in finishing this project.
