Housing Information
Central European University has a modern high rise dormitory building a short subway ride from the University. Spaces are available for students participating in the summer school program at an approximate cost (based on current exchange rates) of $90.00 per week. The dormitory offers laundry facilities, a dining facility serving three meals each day, a large computer lab, a swimming pool and modest gym, sundry store, and community rooms with television.
For students who prefer to live closer to campus, CEU will assist with locating available rental apartments. Apartment sizes vary, and the weekly cost should be comparable to the cost of the dormitory. Please note that the above costs for dormitories and for apartments are based on shared occupancy.
Dormitories are handicap accessible. However, private apartments are less likely to offer support for people with special needs.
