Cancellation Policy


If the Summer Program in Budapest is cancelled by Emory University and/or Central European University, students will be issued a full refund of their tuition. All students are required to submit a $100 non-refundable application fee. Students must pay a partially refundable deposit of $1,000 due six weeks before the program begins.

For cancellations by students, the refund policy for the $1,000 deposit is as follows:

  • If the student cancels within four weeks of the first day of class, the student will receive a full refund.

Students who fail to appear at Central European University for classes or who drop once the courses have begun will not receive a refund.
