Introduction

One of the advantages of ejournal subscriptions over traditional paper periodicals is that you have instant access to each new issue as soon as it is published. By setting up an "alert" with the vendor, you can receive an email with links to the full text of all the articles in the new issue.

The first step in setting up an alert is to access the eJournal through the Emory eJournals database (EJDB) (which is also accessible by clicking on the button at the top of any EUCLID page). Locate the title either by executing a keyword search or by browsing through the alphabetical list. Alternatively, you can search for the title in the EUCLID catalog itself and click on the URL that appears in the field labeled "Electronic access".

Several different vendors are represented in the EJDB, and each one has a different registration process for email alerts. Follow the procedure below that is appropriate for the vendor identified on the main page for the online journal.

If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please contact your liaison librarian.
