The many online resources to which you have access are governed by a variety of access policies, as required by our contracts with the vendors. Those policies are identified by the following flags that appear after the links to the databases in our Web pages.
= Accessible from any workstation connected to the Emory University network.
= Accessible from any workstation in Gambrell Hall or MacMillan Law Library.
= Off-campus access is handled by the Emory University proxy server. When you attempt to open the site from a non-Emory workstation, a page will display that asks for your Emory Personal ID. If you do not know your ID, you can learn it in any of three ways:
= Off-campus access requires a group password. To learn the Law School's password, call the Reference Desk at 7-8058 or Contact your liaison librarian.
= All access requires an individual password. If you do not know your password, call the Reference Desk at 7-8058 or Contact your liaison librarian.
The absence of a flag indicates a free Web resource.
There is no need to return to this page each time you need to interpret a flag. If you rest your mouse pointer on the flag briefly, a message will pop up that summarizes its meaning.
