  • Federal regulations are in the CFR, arranged by topic and agency
    • Browse through (preferably in print) the tables of contents for agency regulations
    • Use to find current regulations for an agency.
    • Find Federal Register citations in the CFR for history and background
    • Limit searches by title, agency, or database
  • New and proposed regulations are in the Federal Register
    • Use to find brand new regulations, proposed regulations, and regulatory history.
    • Use your CFR citation for updates in the LSA or in your search.
    • Limit search by agency, and by final or proposed rule.
  • Administrative decisions are usually found on agency websites.
    • Search with your CFR citation.
    • May be in commercial databases or publications.
