Executive Orders & Presidential Documents


The President of the United States issues orders and proclamations that have the force of law. Executive Orders and Presidential Proclamations are available in the Federal Register, the Weekly Compilation of Presidential Documents, and the White House website. Other presidential materials are available in the Weekly Compilation and later in the Public Papers of the Presidents.
