You may send us a copy of your syllabus (paper or electronic is fine [email us!]) or a list of citations. You may also include any copies of materials you wish to use, or you can just submit the materials along with this form directly to Reserves staff.
For ALL photocopies we ask that you include a copy of the title page and the copyright page from the front of a book or periodical volume.
All personal materials will be returned to you at the end of the semester unless you indicate otherwise.
How quickly materials can be made available for you class depends on 1.) the completeness of the list or syllabus you provide us with, 2.) how readily available the materials are, 3.) the time of the semester you submit them. While additional items can always be added at any time during the semester, but we ask that you provide us with a clean copy of your syllabus to work from (electronic or paper is fine). If you have paper or electronic copies of materials already which you wish to give to us to use that will also expedite the process. Items available at the Emory libraries will be made available within 3-5 working days (depending on time of the semester and size of the list) while items which must be recalled or obtained via library order or InterLibrary Loan will have more open ended completion dates.
Copies of items not owned by Emory University Libraries: It is not possible for us to place ILL materials, or copies of ILL materials on Reserve for an extended length of time. Placing a paper copy of the material you have requested on reserve is a temporary solution while the library attempts to purchase a copy for our collections.
