For Faculty Who Wish to Place Take Home Exams at the Library

If you would like the Circulation Desk to assist with passing out and collecting exams for you, we are happy to do this.   We keep the desk area locked at all times, so the exams are secure and can be picked at any time during or after the exam period (see library hours here if you aren't sure when we are open).   Here is what we need from you:

1.) If you need us to both hand out and collect exams, we need hard copies of the exams with two envelopes (one for pick up, one for received exams), along with written instructions (how long the students have to complete the exam, what dates they are able to take it during, contact information if there are questions) and a list of/sign in sheet for all the students in the class.

2.) If you need us just to collect exams, we need the exams with one envelope (for received exams), written instructions (when the exam must be back, contact information, etc.) and a list of/sign in sheet for all the students in the class.

Please note:

We cannot print out your exams, or create class rosters for you.  You must provide hard copies of all exams and instructions to us.  The registrar's office can assist you with creating class rosters and lists of exam numbers, as well as with dates grades are due (404-727-6832).

Please be aware that our Circulation desk is regularly staffed by student assistants, so brief, clear instructions will save lots of time and aggravation for students and staff alike.

If you have an exam with us and anything should change (final date to pass the exam in, etc.) please let us know right away so we can be sure students are aware of the change when they pick up their exams.

We will hold your completed exams until you are able to collect them.  We are not able to mail or ship them for you.
