Circulation: What We Do

The circulation department is located at the library entrance on the second floor of the MacMillan Law Library.  All library materials circulate from this desk.  This includes LC-Class and reserve materials (the Reserves collection includes course reserves, study aids, selected textbooks, but also equipment you may borrow such as thumb drives, Ethernet cables, headphones, and laptop locks).  Recall items, holds, Oxford materials, and Interlibrary Loans are also picked up from the Circulation Desk.

Loan periods and policies vary among Emory libraries and types of materials, so it is important to check due dates and times marked on all materials. The staff at the circulation desk in each Emory library can explain specific borrowing guidelines and fine policies or you can visit their Web pages to learn more.
