Help Desk
Our help desk staff assists law school students, staff, and faculty with technology-related issues. You can get help in one of four ways:
- Visit our Knowledge Base to see if your issue is posted with a resolution.
- Submit an online request to the ELS help desk by visiting:
- Call 404-727-5321 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.
- Visit M517 (MacMillan Library) from 9-11:30AM, and 1:00-5PM, Monday through Friday.
Student PC repair
We provide limited assistance with student laptops (Windows and Mac OS). Because of the huge variations in computer systems and installed software, we can only spend a maximum of two hours per incident on student PCs. We do not do hardware repairs or replacements. Please contact your manufacturer regarding hardware repairs, or visit a third-party IT support service such as Onyx Consulting located in downtown Decatur.
Computer Lab
The MacMillan Library has 16 lab computers available to students running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. They are equipped with MS Office 2010, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, a PDF reader, and access to your ELS-provided network storage. In addition to the computers are two HP Laserjet 9050 high-speed, duplexing printers, and one color printer. The print system is managed by Pharos.
