Civil Rights Conference

Emory University School of Law hosted a unique gathering of legal scholars and civil rights activists at the National Civil Rights Access to Justice Forum on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 11-12, 2011.

The “Access to Justice for Civil Rights Litigation Forum” provided a national platform to address civil rights issues while exploring questions of whether statutory and/or regulatory change is warranted. The Forum was co-sponsored by the Emory University School of Law Center for Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and the American Constitution Society (ACS) with support from BLSA and Smith, Gambrell, and Russell, LLP.

Shawn McCullers, 11L, BLSA Community Service Chair, helped to coordinate the program.
