Future Law Students

We welcome inquiries from future law students, no matter what age or grade. We also welcome inquiries from parents, teachers, community groups, etc. who work with students who are interested in law school. Please contact emorylawblsa(at)gmail.com if you are interested in any of the programs listed below or have questions about BLSA or Emory Law.

Admitted Students

BLSA joins forces with other affinity groups at Emory Law and Paul Hastings LLP to host a pre-admitted students day for admitted students who self-identify as Black. This event is held the Friday before Emory Law's April admitted students day, so you only have to travel once. We will provide you with a more in depth look at Emory and give you the opportunity to meet your future classmates.

College Students and College Graduates

In conjunction with the Admissions Office, Emory BLSA hosts Law Students for a Day, a program wherin we bring students to campus and give you a taste of life at law school. You will meet students, professors, and administrators, take a tour of the law school, and sit in on a real first year class.

BLSA also hosts workshops on the admissions process and writing the personal statement.

Programs are hosted at the law school or, if you are in the Atlanta area, we can host an event at your school/organization. We are also available to host any programming that you feel would be beneficial and falls within our expertise.

Additionally, if you have questions about law school or would like someone to review your personal statement, even outside of a workshop, you can contact us at anytime.
