30th Annual Scholarship and Awards Reception
On April 11, 2013, the Emory University Chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA) held its 30th Annual Scholarship and Awards Reception in Atlanta, GA, at the Miller-Ward Alumni House.
"Perseverance, Purpose, and Promise: Paying It All Forward." Rob Henrikson 72L was the keynote speaker.
Each year, the reception raises money for the Emory BLSA Endowment Fund, which was established in 1998 to provide scholarships to our members. Since the fundís inception, 37 scholarships have been awarded to BLSA members, ranging from $1,000 to $3,000.
Please support BLSA by contributing to the 30th Annual Scholarship and Awards Reception. By attending the reception or by making a donation, you will help meet the evolving needs of students as we face the financial challenges of attending a top-ranked law school. We encourage you to support us and help us achieve our full potential as lawyers and as citizens of the world.
If you have questions or are interested in sponsorship opportunities for the 2014 event, contact Phillip Lewis at pnlewis(at)emory.edu, Anthony Hall at ghall5(at)emory.edu, or the BLSA staff advisor at 404.727.5582.
