The Amicus Group is an organization for non-traditional law students as well as any spouses/significant others of law students.  We recognize that law school is very stressful, not only for the student, but also for his or her partner and children.  This population of older students and/or those with families is quite small, and it's easy to feel isolated.

We plan activities to include the students, families and friends, as well as activities for the partners, children and friends of law students during finals and other busy periods.  We also work to ensure the law school community is aware of community activities at Emory and in the surrounding community.  This organization is typically run and organized by a law student spouse or partner.
