MyData, Preferred Email, and Aliases


Emory is a large place with a heterogeneous networking and directory services environment. This means that you may be listed in a variety of different systems. The following is a set of links to various bits of information in the various Emory information systems.

MyData

This is a service that the main University provides so that you can check to see how the various Emory IT systems have you listed. Note that this does not include any information about your law school account.

You will need your Emory (or "Opus") ID and password to check this information.

Changing Your University Password

You may know this as your Opus account or your PeopleSoft account. In any case, this password is not automatically synchronized with your law school password. To change your University/Opus/PeopleSoft account, go here:

Note: you must know your current password in order to change your password. We don't know your password. If you don't know your University/Opus/PeopleSoft password, call 404-727-7777.

Aliases

If your University username is something like jsmith08,then you might be stuck with jsmith08@emory.edu as your email address.To create easier to remember email addresses, Emory provides an alias system. Go to this URL to check on and change your email alias:
