This evolving historical record shall include the collection and analysis of a broad range of documents and testimonies in an archive that is accessible to the public for research and educational purposes. Based on the principle that accounting for past abuses is essential for future social progress and democratic transformation, the IHRDC will encourage an informed dialogue on the human rights situation in Iran.
