An Emory Law education should be affordable for all qualified students, regardless of means. Your gift will fund endowed and expendable scholarships to help offset the rising cost of tuition. Scholarship support diversifies the student body—attracting the best students from all backgrounds—and enables new graduates to pursue their careers without struggling to overcome education debt.

Faculty Chairs

A strong faculty is the cornerstone of a great law school, and faculty recruitment and retention are becoming increasingly competitive. You can support new faculty chairs in intellectual property, international and comparative law, and health law, policy and ethics.

Programmatic Initiatives

The Dean seeks investment of $6 million in programmatic support for public interest law, transactional law, intellectual property and health law and policy.

A law school’s national reputation, a critical factor in rankings, is largely based on the strength of its programs and faculty. We will enhance support for our nationally recognized programs while investing in new areas of excellence such as health law, policy and ethics and intellectual property, where our unique position at Emory and in Atlanta can be maximized.

Career Services

Emory provides practical training as well as the best legal education, preparing students to move easily from classroom to career. Your gift will strengthen the Emory Law Office of Career Services, funding a new program in practice readiness to ensure that graduates make immediate, significant contributions in their new careers.

Technology and Student Life

Educational technology and student life should be as sophisticated as Emory’s people and programs. Your gift will fund classroom technology to improve teaching, learning, and collaboration. You also can support activities outside the classroom, including student journals and organizations.

Law School Fund

Ongoing annual gifts to the Emory Law School Fund provide critical, flexible support that allows the dean to invest in strategic priorities throughout the year. Pooled with generous support from dedicated alumni and friends, these gifts have great impact.
