William T. Mayton Thomas J. Simmons Professor of Law constitutional and administrative law
William T. Mayton teaches constitutional and administrative law. After graduating from law school at Columbia University, he practiced law in Washington, D.C. and Palo Alto, California, and served as assistant counsel to the United States Senate Select Committee (the Watergate Committee). Professor Mayton is the author of numerous articles on constitutional and administrative law and on the First Amendment, including the textbook Administrative Law (published by West Publishing Co., 1992).
