Biography

Darlene C. Lynch is teaching in the Legal Writing, Research and Advocacy Program (LWRAP) for the spring semester. Lynch graduated magna cum laude in 1986 from Georgetown University with a degree in government. In 1992, she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class from The University of Chicago Law School. While in law school, Lynch was awarded the Beale Prize for outstanding work in the legal writing and research program and a Bradley Fellowship in Criminal Justice for independent study in the area of criminal law. Lynch practiced commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense at Ropes & Gray in Boston for five years and served as a special assistant district attorney for Middlesex County. Lynch has taught legal research and writing at Boston University School of Law and in the Graduate Program at Harvard Law School.
