Ruskola Selected for Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study
Emory Law Professor Teemu Ruskola has been awarded a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) in Princeton, N.J. Professor Ruskola will serve as a member of the institute’s School of Social Science for the 2008-09 academic year.
During his time at the IAS, Professor Ruskola will be working on a book entitled China, For Example: The Introduction of Western International Law in China.
The IAS is one of the world’s leadings centers for theoretical research in the arts and sciences. Each year, the institute selects approximately 190 members from more than 1,500 applicants. Membership is considered one of the most prestigious fellowships in the nation. Past members of the IAS have ranged from Albert Einstein to Catherine MacKinnon.
