Professor Carney Quoted in Article on Refco Meltdown

Professor William Carney is quoted in the latest issue of Knowledge@Emory in an article on the demise of Refco, formerly one of the world's largest commodities and derivatives trading firms. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in August, but following the arrest of CEO Phillip Bennett on charges that he had kept up to $545 million in debt off the books, the once high-flying firm crashed in just a few days.
