Professor An-Na'im Discusses Plans for Peace in Sudan

Professor Abdullahi A. An-Naim is featured in an August 17 Atlanta Journal-Constitution article on prospects for peace in Sudan. An-Naim discussed conditions in Sudan in light of the death of John Garang, a rebel leader from southern Sudan who died in a helicopter crash July 30. Garang died just three weeks after becoming Sudan's vice president in accordance with a peace deal that ended Africa's longest-running civil war.
