While the Alumni Student Recruiters and the Office of Admission staff will be working together to recruit prospective students, both have responsibilities to uphold in the process.
Responsibilities of Law School Admission Staff
- Keep Alumni Student Recruiters informed with regular updates about any changes in regards to Law School admission policies and procedures.
- Solicit feedback from Alumni Student Recruiters to better understand their concerns and adapt the program to fit their needs.
- Provide proper recruitment materials to Alumni Student Recruiters to ensure that they have the tools to recruit effectively.
- Maintain the Alumni Student Recruiter website with the latest information, stay in contact the Law School Admissions representatives, and exchange information with other recruiters.
Responsibilities of the Alumni Student Recruiters
- Provide up-to-date, accurate information to students, their families, the general public, and those in the legal community.
- Work closely with the Office of Admission to be informed on the yearly changes in Admission processes, procedures, criteria, and demographics. Have a good understanding of the type of students we want to recruit and the student areas to target.
- Keep informed about the Law School, and about Emory University. New programs, special events, changes in curriculum, faculty, career opportunities, campus life, Atlanta, etc.
- Remember that while Alumni Student Recruiters serve an invaluable service to the students and to the Office of Admission, the Admission office is primarily responsible for the admission decisions.
