Emory Law School Distinguished Alumni Awards
Statement of Criteria:
The Emory Law School Distinguished Alumni Awards were established in 1985 by the Law Alumni Association to recognize:
- Distinguished service to Emory Law School or Emory University,
- Distinguished community service or,
- Distinguished public service, or
- Distinguished achievements in legal practice.
The recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Awards are nominated by a committee appointed by the President of the Law Alumni Association. The nominations of the committee are confirmed by a vote of the Law Alumni Association Executive Committee. Up to four alumni are honored each year. To nominate a fellow alumni or yourself for this award, please send a letter describing the reasons for the nomination to:
