Shapiro 64C 67L honored as “Champion of Justice”

Ben Shapiro 64C 67L was recognized as a "Champion of Justice" by the Georgia Legal Services Program, for his work as co-founder.

GLSP provides access to justice for Georgians who cannot afford to hire private counsel, in the small towns and rural areas of the state. Shapiro served on the committee of the Younger Lawyers Section of the State Bar that studied the need for legal services in rural Georgia, which led to GLSP’s founding in 1971. Shapiro received the award in October 2012.

Shapiro is senior counsel at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, in Atlanta.
