July 25, 2013

Daniel Schuman 99C 06L has been named one of the 25 most influential people under 40 in the government and tech fields, by FedScoop.

In June, Schuman joined Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as policy director. Previously, he worked with the Sunlight Foundation as policy counsel and director of the Advisory Committee on Transparency. His job there was to increase transparency in government and public access to federal information.

Schuman “testified before Congress and was a nationally recognized expert on federal transparency,” the CREW site states. “He also served as counsel and communications director for the Constitution Project and as a legislative attorney with the Congressional Research Service.” (photo via Fedscoop)
