| Randolph W. Thrower Symposium Explores Legal Science The Emory Law Journal will sponsor the Randolph W. Thrower Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, February 21, in Emory Law’s Tull Auditorium. The topic for this year’s symposium will be "Legal Science: An Interdisciplinary Examination of the Use and Misuse of Science in the Law." The symposium is free and open to the public and five CLE credits will be available. CLE credits are available for $10 per hour, up to a total of five hours for $50. Lunch is provided. | Georgia Supreme Court Hears Oral Arguments at Emory Law The Supreme Court of Georgia will hold oral arguments in Emory Law’s Tull Auditorium on Tuesday, February 26, from 10:00 a.m. to noon. The Court will hear arguments in Hardin et al. v. NBC Universal et al. and Reaves v. The State, and the public is invited to attend. As part of the session, before oral arguments, Chief Justice Leah Sears 80L, will oversee a special admissions ceremony for lawyers who would like to join the Court’s membership. Any member of the State Bar of Georgia may be admitted upon completion of the written application found at http://www.gasupreme.us/admissions/admission_card_form.pdf. The Bar admission fee is $30. The event is free.
