Emory Law School has offered a one-year LLM to foreign law students and professionals since the late 1970s. The program was revamped in 1992 and is currently structured to offer a select group of foreign nationals closely supervised training in international and comparative legal studies. Emory allows students to receive an LLM in their preferred fields of legal concentration rather than limit students to a single area of study.
The key to admission into Emory's Foreign LLM program is an excellent academic record and a serious interest in experiencing additional legal education in a superior American educational environment.
With the assistance of Emory's faculty, students design their particular LLM programs to meet their own needs and interest. For more information about the courses available at Emory, please go to http://www.law.emory.edu/registrar/catalog.htm
