Scheduling a Visit


We invite all prospective students to visit campus to see what Emory Law has to offer.

We welcome visitors at any time. To maximize your experience, we strongly recommend scheduling your visit in advance by clicking here.

Information Sessions/Tour/Classroom Experience

Information sessions and classroom visits are appropriate for both prospective and admitted students. To schedule a visit, click here. (Please note that space is limited.) 

Information sessions are offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays beginning on Tuesday, January 17th and ending on Friday, April 13th. 

Following the information session, participants may take a tour of the Law School, and then sit-in on a first-year class. Please plan on staying for the entire class session.

Spring 2012 classes open to visitors are Constitutional Law and Property.

A sample visit schedule is as follows: 

Tuesdays and Thursdays
9:00 a.m.     Check in (Gambrell Hall Suite 150)
9:15 a.m.     Information session
9:45 a.m.     Tour
10:15 a.m.   Class visit: Constitutional Law
12:00 p.m.   Office of Career Services Overview with the Dean and/or Director of Career Services

Fridays
9:15 a.m.     Check in (Gambrell Hall Suite 150)
9:30 a.m.     Information session
10:00 a.m.   Tour
10:30 a.m.   Class visit: Property
12:00 p.m.   Office of Career Services Overview with the Dean and/or Director of Career Services

 *Please note that there is no information session on Tuesday, March 6.  There will be a one-time make-up session on Wednesday, March 7.  The session will begin at 9:30am and include an information session, tour, class visitation, and Career Services Overview.

Parking

Atlanta traffic is unpredictable, so it is best to leave yourself a little extra time to arrive for your appointment. There is a fee to park in the Lowergate parking facility. Please see the Maps and Directions page for more information. The parking rate varies with your length of stay. If you participate in the session, tour and class visit, it will cost approximately $6-7 to park. Credit and debit cards are accepted as of Dec. 1, 2009.

A typical visit includes a 30-minute information session, 25-minute tour and 90-minute class visit.
