Career Services

Final Undergraduate Transcripts

The American Bar Association requires all law schools to maintain on file an official copy of each student's final undergraduate transcript. If you have not already requested that one be sent to us from your undergraduate institution, please make the necessary arrangements for a transcript to be sent to the Office of Admission before classes begin. An official final transcript must show the degree conferred and the date of the conferral.  Your LSDAS report can not substitute for your official final transcript.

Financial Aid

Emory uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the PROFILE to determine eligibility for loan programs and to confirm your need for law school scholarships. Emory's FAFSA code is 001564.

You will find the necessary financial aid information at http://www.fafsa.org/ and profileonline.collegeboard.com. Questions about the loan application process should be directed to the Office of Financial Aid at 800-727-6039.

DISABILITY

If you are an individual with a disability please complete the form which is requested by the Center for Disability Services and Compliance.  This form is a self-identification form and should be mailed directly to them, immediately, to assist the University in determining accommodations.

Health Insurance Information

In order to complete your file and issue you a permit to register, please complete the online Medical History Forms (click on "New Student Information") and return it to the Emory University Student Health Services of Emory University Clinic, 1525 Clifton Road, Atlanta, GA 30322. Please feel free to contact EUSHS at (404) 727-7551 if you have questions about Student Health Services, the on-line MedBuddy-U health history form, the health forms and brochures, meningococcal meningitis and the vaccine, student health insurance or any other student health-related issues.

Housing

While law students are not required to live on campus, on campus housing is available. Notify the Housing Office immediately if you are planning to live on campus. You may e-mail the housing office at ccoffice(at)learnlink.emory.edu. You may also reach their office by calling 404-727-8830 or access the web at http://www.emory.edu/housing/grad/gradhouse.html.

If you are looking to stay off-campus, Emory University offers a website with a listing of several options. Please visit http://housing.emory.edu/off-campus/home.cfm.

Need Help Locating A Roommate?

To help with finding a roommate, the Admission Office has created a Roommate Matching Form.  This form has been prepared to help you find a potential roommate!  By completing and returning this form, you will receive a packet of completed Roommate Matching Forms from other entering students who are interested in identifying a roommate(s).  If you do not return this form, you will not receive a packet.  Once received, you are encouraged to contact those individuals who you believe would make an acceptable roommate.

Parking Information

Parking Registration Guidelines for 2008-2009 are now available!  Click here for more information.

Guidelines for Student Parking Registration for the 2008-2009 Academic Year.  The parking decks closest to the law school are the Peavine Parking Deck, the Michael Street Parking Deck, and the Clairmont Campus Parking Deck. All three of these decks are within a 15 minute walk of campus and also are served by regular shuttle bus routes that stop very close to the law school. Clairmont Campus deck may be a good option if you are traveling to the law school via Clairmont Road (or, of course, if you are living in Clarimont Campus housing), because parking in this deck allows you to avoid an area that is highly traveled at rush hour times. To view the location of these parking decks relative to the law school, you can go to http://map.emory.edu.
