Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD)


Emory Law offers the SJD Program to a select group of students. 

If you are interested in the program, we encourage you to contact the Office of Admission directly to learn about the application process and about program details.

Prior to applying, all prospective students interested in the SJD program must first contact the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs at Emory Law School. This initial consultation will help determine if there is a good fit between the Emory SJD program and the prospective student.

Emory Law also offers an SJD in Law and Religion in partnership with Emory University’s Center for the Study of Law and Religion.
