Office of the Registrar


Emory University School of Law's office of the Registrar works with students, faculty, staff and alumni to ensure adherence to University policies and procedures. 

The Emory Law Registrar works in conjunction with Emory University's Office of the Registrar.

For questions regarding degree programs, requirements and other academic policies, students should refer to the Academic Catalog.

Spring 2014 Exams

Before exams you must re-install the Electronic Bluebook exam software, even if you installed it last semester. Visit the Emory Law IT intranet and look under "Quick Tips." Follow the instructions and test the software to make sure it works for you. As always, you can visit the help desk on the fifth floor of the law library if you need help.

Bar Admission

Since requirements for bar admission vary by state, students are strongly encouraged to review requirements for the specific area in which they intend to practice. more >>

Name Changes

The law school Registrar forwards name changes to the Emory University Office of the Registrar. Students must provide one of the following with the changed name:

  1. Marriage license,
  2. Court order, or
  3. Driver's license plus one of the following: social security card, credit card, or blank check showing name and address.

Replacement Diplomas

Alumni may request replacement diplomas and alumni or students may receive official transacripts by contacting the Office of the Registrar. more >>
