Customizing Your JM
The JM curriculum is designed to meet your professional goals. At the start of the program, a two-credit-hour foundational course provides an introduction to the basic elements of U.S. law, including the nature of both common law and statutory/regulatory law, and the case method. The balance of your JM curriculum will be comprised of elective courses based on your individual areas of interest and expertise.
Flexibility That Fits Your Professional Needs
The Emory Law curriculum offers an unmatched breadth and depth of courses.
The flexible JM curriculum allows students to customize course work to fit your professional goals. You will join students from Emory Law’s JD and graduate programs in foundational and elective courses you choose based on your individual areas of interest and expertise.
JM students can work with a JM program adviser to develop a course of study suited to meet your personal and professional goals. We have created sample JM course selections for working professionals in a wide range of industries or areas of specialty. These guidelines can be customized for your unique interests.
