Legal Association for Women Students Annual Conference
The Legal Association of Women Students (LAWS) will host its 2010 conference, "A Spectrum of Opportunities," Saturday, Jan. 30, at Emory Law. The conference will be a day of informative and engaging speakers and panels, bringing together students and attorneys from all practices of law. Panelists will include successful women working in law firms, government agencies and public interest organizations. Louise Sams, executive vice president and general counsel for Turner Broadcasting System Inc., will deliver the keynote lecture.

The conference is free and open to the public, though registration is required. Georgia CLE credit is available for practicing attorneys at $10 per credit hour, payable via cash or check at the conference.
The conference also qualifies as a public interest conference for law students who wish to apply for a summer grant with the Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC).
