Fall 2012  

  • Sept. 10: Deadline for placements to update postings in Symplicity

  • Sept. 12-24: Student application period for Spring 2013 placements

  • Sept. 5-Oct. 5: Placements select students for interviews

  • Oct. 9-22: Interview period for Spring 2013 placements

  • Oct. 23: Last day for placements to submit Spring 2013 offers via Symplicity

  • Oct. 24-26: Students accept/decline Spring 2013 offers

 

Spring 2013 

  • Feb. 1: Deadline for placements to update postings in Symplicity for Fall

  • Feb. 6: Fall 2013 Experiential Learning Fair and Information Session

  • Feb. 6-13: Student application period for Fall 2013 placements

  • Feb. 13-22: Placements select students for interviews

  • Feb. 25-March 7: Interview period for Fall 2013 placements

  • Mar. 11-15: Emory Law School Spring Break

  • March 20: Last day for placements to submit Fall 2013 offers via Symplicity

  • March 22-27: Students accept/decline Fall 2013 offers

 

Supervision Schedule


Fall 2012

  • Aug. 20-21: Classes begin/Field Placement Boot Camps at ELS

  • Aug. 20-31: Supervisors and students discuss fall learning goals/schedule, complete confidentiality exercise

  • Oct. 1: Supervisors submit midterm evaluations via Symplicity

  • Nov. 9: Supervisors submit final evaluations via Symplicity

  • Nov. 12-20 and 26-27: Students have exit interviews with Prof. Shalf

  • Nov. 28: Classes end/field placements end

 

Spring 2013  

  • Mon., Jan. 7: Classes begin/field placements begin

  • Jan. 7-10: Field Placement Boot Camps at ELS

  • Jan. 18: Supervisors and students discuss fall learning goals/schedule, complete confidentiality exercise

  • Feb. 20: Supervisors submit midterm evaluations via Symplicity

  • April 5: Supervisors submit final evaluations via Symplicity
