An Emory legal education is about more than practice; it is about taking the skills gained in the classroom and putting them into practice through activities outside the classroom.
In the classroom, our students learn "black letter law," the language of the legal world. Through innovative programs such as field placements, the Kessler-Eidson Program for Trial Techniques, the TI:GER Program in cooperation with Georgia Institute of Technology, and many others, our students gain practical legal experience by working with real lawyers in the real world.
At the heart of everything we do is a faculty of 70 of the world's leading legal scholars. Experts in their respective areas of the law, they will be your partners during your three years at Emory Law; guiding and advising you as you work to become an Emory lawyer.
Emory Law offers a variety of academic programs that allow you to focus your legal education.
Centers and Clinics
Faculty engage with students in practical application of the law, research, and scholarship through our centers and clinical offerings. Emory Law gives you the experience and skills you need to make an immediate impact in your legal career.
