The School of Law and Goizueta Business School cooperate in a program that enables students to receive the Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees in four years rather than the usual five. Graduates of the program have accepted positions with law firms, corporations, government agencies, public interest organizations, banks, consulting firms and major accounting firms.
A component of the Law and Religion Program, this four-year, joint degree program leads to both the JD and the MTS degrees. The School of Law and the Rollins School of Public Health offer a unique, joint degree program that prepares students for a variety of opportunities in both the legal community and the health professions. This program may be completed in seven semesters.
Emory Law School and the Center for Russian and East European Studies cooperate in program that allows students to pursue Soviet, post-Soviet, and East European studies to receive a JD certification in these areas. Students must first be admitted to the JD program and then evaluated for the certification program. Students with a strong level of proficiency in Russian or in another language of East/Central Europe or the former Soviet Union will be given serious consideration.
