Transactional Law Center to Host M&A Workshop, Nov. 16
The Center for Transactional Law and Practice will hold its second Mergers and Acquisitions Workshop Friday, Nov. 16, at Gambrell Hall. The program – “Conflicts of Interest, Ethics and Professionalism in M&A” – will feature Tom McNeil of Powell Goldstein LLP in Atlanta and Kevin Miller of Alston + Bird LLP in New York. Registration for the workshop begins at 7:30 a.m., and the program is scheduled from 8 – 9 a.m.
This program is the second in a series of four workshops which include presentations from M&A professionals. The first workshop, held Oct. 12, was on the topic of shareholder activism and featured speaker Richard De Rose of Houlihan Lokey, an investment banking firm in New York.
The Center for Transactional Law and Practice will hold two additional workshops in its M&A series; the dates and topics of the upcoming workshops are listed below. All workshops are open to the public, though an RSVP is requested to ensure your seat. Because of generous support from Houlihan Lokey, there is no fee to attend. All workshops will take place at Emory Law in Gambrell Hall. CLE credit is available to workshops attendees.
