Professor Polly Price is quoted in the October 7 issue of the ABA Journal eReport regarding a Georgia settlement law that has been held unconstitutional. The court’s ruling is expected to have a significant effect on tort litigation in Georgia. "If the statute had been upheld, it would have resulted in fewer tort suits being filed and fewer plaintiffs going to trial following offers of settlement," says Price, who teaches tort law.
