Professor Carney Discusses Success of Securities Law

By: Beverly James

Professor William Carney was quoted in the December 3 issue of the New York Times on the Sarbanes-Oxley securities law. Critics say the cost to comply with the law has risen by nearly 233 percent. ''It was posturing that there was only cost and no benefit,'' Carney said.
