Office of Career Services Announces New Directors
The Emory Law Office of Career Services has appointed Michelle Stevens to serve as the new Senior Director of Career Services, beginning Monday, July 23. Stevens joins Emory from Washington and Lee University School of Law where she was Associate Director of Career Planning and Professional Development. Stevens earned her J.D. from Catholic University and has practiced law in Virginia for several years, focusing on the areas of intellectual property, real estate and litigation. In her new role, Stevens will assist first and second-year students with their career development.
Wayne Fishell has been promoted to Assistant Director of Recruiting in the Office of Career Services. In this role, Fishell will continue to serve as the main contact for employers participating in programs such as job fairs and on-campus interviewing (OCI). His primary responsibilities also include managing the Emory Law online system for OCI and job listings; assisting with statistic gathering and reporting; maintaining the Office of Career Services Web site and designing its weekly student newsletter.
