New Faculty at Emory Law

Emory Law is pleased to introduce four new faculty members this fall: Timothy R. Holbrook, Alexander “Sasha” Volokh, Hanah Volokh and Barbara Bennett Woodhouse.

Holbrook is a professor of law specializing in patent law, trademark law and policy, and property law. Prior to Emory, he was an associate professor of law and director of the Program in Intellectual Property at Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Sasha Volokh serves as an assistant professor of law at Emory. Previously, he was a visiting professor at Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Houston Law Center. His research interests include law and economics, administrative law and privatization.

Hanah Volokh is a visiting assistant professor at Emory Law for the 2009-2010 academic year. She focuses on constitutional law, separation of powers, legislation and statutory interpretation and administrative law.

Woodhouse is the L.Q.C. Lamar Professor of Law and co-director of Emory Law’s Barton Child Law and Policy Clinic. She specializes in children’s rights, family law and constitutional law, having previously served as the David H. Levin Chair in Family Law at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. She also was founder and director of its Center on Children and Families.
