Hay Presents Paper at European University Institute

Professor Peter Hay presented a paper on “The Public Policy Exception in Judgment Recognition and Choice of Law” for the Litigation and Harmonization of Law in the European Union Conference at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy, Oct. 26-27. Other presenters included the senior law lord of the English House of Lords, the president of the German Supreme Court, the vice-president of the French Cour de Cassation, and academics and practitioners from several EU countries. Abstracts of the proceedings will appear in the January 2008 issue of The European Law Forum.
