Georgia Tech Students Name Rubinoff 75L Professor of the Year
Arn Rubinoff 75L was named Professor of the Year at Georgia Tech’s College of Management earlier this spring. The recipient of the annual award is decided by undergraduate student vote.
Rubinoff is an attorney who practices in mergers and acquisitions, franchise law, corporate finance and international business transactions with an emphasis on technology transfer, franchise development matters, joint ventures, capital formation and venture capital initial and follow-on investments.
When he began teaching at Tech, he was asked to develop a course on legal issues in technology transfer, Rubinoff said. He now teaches undergraduate and MBA level courses on technology transfer, international business, business law and business ethics.
In addition to serving as an adjunct professor, Rubinoff is also a former member of the Board of Advisors of Georgia Tech’s College of Management, and the Industry Advisory Board for TI:GER, Emory Law and Georgia Tech’s collaborative technology, business and law program. He has also previously served as president of the international transactions section of the Atlanta Bar Association.
