Georgetown Law Center Dean to Speak at Emory Law
T. Alexander Aleinikoff, Dean of the Law Center and Professor of Law at Georgetown University, will lead a discussion on immigration policy at Emory University School of Law Monday, October 8, at 4 p.m., in Gambrell Hall. Aleinikoff’s presentation – "A Conversation on Immigration: How Did We Get Here and Where Are We Going?" – is free and open to the public.
Dean Aleinikoff, a renowned scholar of immigration law and constitutional law, will be on campus as the Distinguished Visiting Professor in Emory Law’s Center on Federalism and Intersystemic Governance. He has published widely on issues immigration, refugee and citizenship law and policy, as well as questions of constitutional law, statutory interpretation and race discrimination. Dean Aleinikoff’s most recent books include "Migration and International Law," "Semblances of Sovereignty: The Constitution, the State and American Citizenship" and "Citizenship Policies for an Age of Migration." He also has co-authored the leading law school casebook on immigration and citizenship law, "Immigration and Citizenship: Process and Policy."List: <- Back to: News Releases
