Former Visiting Scholar Selected for Outstanding Dissertation
Former Emory Law Visiting Scholar Shucheng Wang received national recognition in China when his PhD dissertation was selected as one of Beijing’s Most Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Papers of 2010.
His dissertation, “Presumption of Constitutionality: A Comparative Perspective,” was one of 50 selected by the Beijing government and the only dissertation selected in the area of constitutional and administrative law. Wang plans to publish the dissertation in 2011.
Wang was a visiting scholar at Emory Law during the 2008-2009 academic year, working under the supervision of Professor Michael Perry. He received his PhD from Renmin University of China, whose law school is ranked among the nation’s top schools by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.List: <- Back to: News Releases
